Golden Goblets XP 850

These goblets come in five varieties. To activate the ability, the user must spend one round filling the goblet with the required liquid while intoning their god’s name.

Mirror of Candles XP 2000

If a candle is lit and placed in front of the mirror, the person whose name is intoned on ignition, receives the benefits of an Amulet of Life Protection for as long as the candle burns. The candle must remain in front of the mirror at all times, if it is removed or extinguished the protection ends. If a character dies whilst protected, the act of extinguishing or removing their candle results in permanent and irrevocable destruction of their psyche. Up to 6 candles can be placed in front of the mirror at any one time, however, only one candle can lit for a person at any one time.

Chessboard of N'Gar Dallin XP 1500

General N'Gar Dallin (c. 983) wished for a means to control his army that would allow him to also alter the course of any battle. He summoned the greatest sages of the land to provide a solution. Out of the Tar'an Nor rode a small boy carrying a chessboard. He claimed the board was a gift from his master to the North of the great desert. However, Dallin was to find that the item was in fact cursed, the master of the board was the mysterious benefactor in the North. During battle, Dallin was beaten both on the board and on the field, with most of his troops dead Dallin fled into the East.

The chessboard provides a means to swing the tide of battle. If a declaration is made before battle that the game is to alter the course of events then the game must be completed. The victor of the game will find his armies successful, however, should the commander lose then his life is forfeit. Similarly, friendly troops must be assigned to the various pieces, and should their piece be lost they will die.

The opposing commander need not know of the board, and should his side lose the chess game no harm will directly come to him. The board only functions with battles that include greater than 1000 men per side.
