To kick-start our Pride celebrations and raise funds for this year's free festival, we are delighted to announce a glorious summer of events at your favourite venues. (Please contact all venues for full details)

MAY

THURSDAY 1ST MAY TO FRIDAY 20TH JUNE
QUEBEC (94-96 Belgrave Gate): Prize Draw with fabulous prizes (drawn on June 20th). Tickets from the bar.

SATURDAY 3RD MAY TO SATURDAY 14TH JUNE
RAINBOW & DOVE (185 Charles Street): Raffle for a case of booze every Saturday. 50p per ticket. Draw at 10pm every Saturday.

SUNDAY 4TH MAY
The Dover Castle (34 Dover Street): Cabaret from 9pm. Bar open until 2am. Entry £1: all door money to Leicester Pride.

STREETLIFE (24 Dryden Street): Gala Party with cabaret.10pm - 2am, entry £3.50: all door money to Leicester Pride.

MONDAY 5TH MAY
BOSSA (110 Granby Street): Return of the Bank Holiday Monday Hapy Hour Party raising money for Trade for Leicester Pride.

SUNDAY 11TH MAY
RAINBOW & DOVE (185 Charles Street): R&D Quiz with free buffet per table. 3pm start, entry £5 per table: all table money to Leicester Pride. R&D Quiz also on Sunday 18th May, Sunday 8th June and Sunday 15th June.

SUNDAY 25TH MAY
STREETLIFE (24 Dryden Street): Gala Party with cabaret.10pm - 2am, entry £3.50: all door money to Leicester Pride.

MONDAY 26TH MAY
HELSINKI MUSIC BAR (94 Rutland Street): "From HOLLYWOOD to BOLLYWOOD and Beyond!" - fabulous movie moments raising money for Trade for Leicester Pride. Check venue for details.

JUNE

FRIDAY 6TH JUNE
Y THEATRE (7 East Street, Box Office: 0116 2557066): "Martha & Eve": an evening of innovative and multi-dimensional music. Folk and Rock meet Soul and Greek with a twist of Flamenco. Time: 8pm, Tickets: £8/£6 conc.

SUNDAY 8TH JUNE
The Dover Castle (34 Dover Street): Camp Tea Party with sandwiches and scones. £1,50 per person from 4pm. All proceeds to Leicester Pride

PHOENIX ARTS (Newarke Street, Box Office: 0116 255 4854): "Gary O'Donnell: Ey Up Me Duck": Cult local figure and star of the Leicester Comedy Festival makes a benefit appearance for Leicester pride with his hilarious one man show. Time: 7pm, Tickets: £5 no conc.

followed by: "Xanadu": Thunderously camp disco movie classic. Time: 8.45pm, Tickets: £4.70 no conc.

SUNDAY 15TH JUNE
Y THEATRE (7 East Street, Box Office: 0116 2557066): "Laughs Before Bedtime": Writers VG Lee, Claire Summerskill and Polly wright read extracts from their latest novels, poetry and short stories. Time: 7.30pm, Tickets: £5/£4 conc.

MONDAY 16TH JUNE
Y THEATRE (7 East Street, Box Office: 0116 2557066): "Jason Wood: Bare Camp": a comedy special from singer and comedian Jason Wood. A spectacular evening of warm comedy. camp cheekiness and amazing singing. Time: 8pm, Tickets: £8/£6 conc.
