Background
This section contains a summary of
changes to this site and planned updates. All significant changes
to this site will be summarised on this page as well as a list of
future changes to be implemented when time and boredom allows
:-). If you have any suggestions, comments or broken links to
report on my home pages, please leave a message in my guest book
or e-mail me.
Changes
to the site
31st March 2004
- Minor update to primarily reduce the amount of spam I receive
- Removed my e-mail address from the site as it receives over twenty items
of spam a day.
- Updated about me section
- Updated the PC Optimisation guide to be more general and cater for newer
hardware.
- Moved the martial arts page to the Shotokan Guide Site
- Changed marquee at the bottom of the [age to use javascript so it is
not IE specific and works with my browser of choice Mozilla and on both
my Windows and Linux setup.
27th December 1998
- Complete site redesign
- Renamed the site although there was a logical
reason for calling the site 'The Dreaming'
(Morpheus real in the Sandman), this name had
very little to do with the sites main content.
the site will henceforth be known as 'Richard
Amuzu's Home Page'.
- Removed all compromises made originally to keep
the site Amiga friendly. I originally attempted
to make the site viewable on both my PC and a
relatively typical Amiga. Due to lack of support
for certain features in Amiga browsers of the
time and limited colour depths, content and
colour schemes were dictated by what was readable
on my A1200.
- Changed site to utilise frames. Frames were
originally not used because Microsoft Word '97
didn't support the creation of frames. I now know
more about HTML and use a combination of Claris
Home Page, FrontPage Express and manual HTML
coding to produce the site.
- Created this 'updates' page based on suggestions
from visitors.
- Removed all windows specific font references from
pages (Original site used fonts supplied with
Microsoft Publisher which most visitors would not
have)
- Changed colour scheme to a less garish
combination
- Added page update dates to all pages (Suggestion
in Guest Book)
- Updated all links on the site
- Updated information on the music page
- Added a pictorial profile of Russell Leon Dempsey

24th June 1999
- Changed ISP and transferred site to Virgin Net
- Made minor updates to links
- Updated Shotokan Guide layout on suggestions from
feedback form to include additional navigation
bars at the bottom of each page
- Changed guestbook, feedback form and counter to
use those provided by Virgin Net
21st October 1999
- Updated Overclocking and Optimisation Guide
- More general tips on system optimisation
- Details and settings for optimising the CD-ROM
cache beyond the Quad-Speed limit of Windows
95/98
- Information about overclocking the Celeron.
Future
