This program calculates the number of stress cycles under a resonance for a swept sine test.
Knowing the Q (resonant gain) and sweep rate, it determines the number of stress cycles (for one sweep) accumulated while sweeping through the resonance.
Note : The half power point is approximately -3.01dB below the resonant peak ( actually 1/√2 ).
Using the mathematical function found in MIL-STD-810F. This program calculates the predicted Q of a structure (beam) related to frequency.
It will also determines the damping ratio as Q and Zeta ζ (damping ratio) are directly related.
Features
The bandwidth at half power point
The time to sweep through the resonance
The number of cycles
Log or Linear sweep modes
Q (resonant gain) (Quaity Factor)
Zeta ζ
