Many accelerometers have an output which is defined in pC/gn. These are referred to as "Charge type" (pC = pico Coulomb : gn = gravitational unit)
Accelerometers which were developed later had integrated into them an amplifier "conditioning amplifier" which provided an output in mV/gn.
Measurement systems whose input is expecting a signal which is in mV/gn can not use "Charge type accelerometers" unless a Charge converter is used.
Thus, the charge converter "converts" a signal which is in pC/gn to mV/gn.
Note, the units can be pC/m/sē to mV/m/sē
This program calculates the output sensitivity given the charge sensitivity and the conversion factor of the charge converter.
