A Transmissibility signal is the ratio of one signal to another where one is defined as the “Excitation” and the other is defined as the “Response”. Transmissibility is typically used for resonance analysis.
Transmissiblity is the ratio of output to input.
Transmissibility (T) = output/input. T > 1 means amplification and maximum amplification occurs when forcing frequency (Ff) and natural frequency (Fn) of the system coincide.
There is no unit designation for transmissiblity, although it may sometimes be referred to as the "Q" factor.
