Richard Northwood has a proven track record in the provision of Recreation and Leisure in both Public and Private sectors of the industry. He is recognised by Grandmaster Chen Zheng Lei as an advanced Xin Jia student (qualification obtained at the First International Meeting of Chen Style Tai Chi in Handan) and is a registered instructor with the International Meeting of Tai Chi Chuan in Zhao Zuo.

He has studied in England and China with Grandmaster Chen Zheng Lei, Grandmaster Gou Kong Jie, Master Zhung Dong Wu and Master Liu Yong. Now he exclusively studies advanced Xin Jia 83 under Master Liming Yue.
