In
1977 Ricky went to Berlin for rehearsals with David Bowie and Iggy Pop. They were joined by Hunt and Tony Sales. They toured the UK and USA to promote The Idiot. Following the tour the group returned to Berlin to record the legendary 'Lust for Life' album. |

In the late Autumn of 1977 Ricky went back to London to overdub the guitar top line for the BBC's Top of the Pops version of 'Heroes' with David Bowie for Tony Visconti. This is frequently used on the BBC and appears on the 'Dancing in the Street' BBC video. In 1978 Ricky set up his own home recording studio and became a father.
