This is a record label for those who share our passion for music.
Musicians ourselves, we aim to
introduce new really talented artists to the rock scene.
Artists who can write bloody good songs.
Artists who are great live performers.
Artists who can really excite and inspire.
The current music scene is said to be dull, but that is just mainstream, radio friendly stuff we're talking about. Rock music has gone back underground, so we went underground to find real talent, musicians who do not match the standards of a record industry which has gone pathetically conservative. Those who are just too good for that.
It will probably take a while before the music industry captures the current underground vibe in rock and blues. In the meantime, we'll bring you the best of that new scene: we started with the release of Gwyn Ashton's critically acclaimed debut album "Feel the Heat", and "Fang It!" , which was the product of the collaboration between Gwyn Ashton and some of the best musicians around: ex-Rory Gallagher sidemen Gerry McAvoy (bass) and Brendan O'Neill (drums). As if it were not enough, the album was produced by Nine Below Zero's Dennis Greaves! Gwyn's acoustic masterpiece "Beg, Borrow & Steel" came next...
