COMMENTS

This LP is perhaps the most rare of all Melanie albums, with some fans not even aware of its existence.  Buddah Records released the record in 1973. Initially it was thought to only have been released in Germany however, copies printed in Yugoslavia have recently emerged on Ebay.

Like Leftover Wine it features a solo concert, this time recorded in Montreux on June 12th, 1971. Whether the album was issued in limited numbers or whether it was withdrawn after release I cannot say. I came across my copy about 5 years ago, it being the first one I had seen in many years of searching.

The album, while forming an interesting record of one of Melanie's early concerts, is slightly marred by the fact that her guitar is slightly out of tune on some songs. This seems to have the effect of slightly restraining her performance.

The tracks on this album have, so far, not resurfaced anywhere else.
