COMMENTS The album opens with a
re-working of a song that first appeared on Silence Is King, then
called I Will Get Over and now re-named Rock In The Road. Beautiful
People is a re-working of a Melanie classic, this time recorded as a duet
with a singer named only as Meredith (from Pop In Wonderland). This works
much better than the second duet, featuring Jonathan Edwards, with both
singers seeming ill matched. Freedom Knows My Name is another
re-recording, as is Ballerina. The three bonus tracks on the
1995 issue are acoustic versions taken from the Silver Anniversary
sessions. |
