COMMENTS Melanie's first US release
for six years, Precious Cargo takes the bulk of its material (tracks
3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) direct from Cowabonga (see that album re versions
of these songs), though track 10 (Window Pain) seems to have been edited for
this release. Rock and Roll Heart is a new recording of the song that
first appeared on Melanie 1987. Undertow and Hard Rain make
their first (but not last) appearance, while the version of Tonight's The
Kind Of Night is unique to this album. |
