COMMENTS The bulk of the material on
this 2CD set is culled from Silver Anniversary. The source of other
material is as follows: Any Time At All from Old Bitch Warrior;
Every Breath You Take, Missing You and Bitterblue from Unchained;
Racing Heart from Cowabonga; How Can I Help You Say Goodbye
is Melanie's original version of this song with full orchestral
accompaniment, previously only available as a promotional item; Long Train
Runnin' is a new song; Nickel Song appears to be a live version
not previously released. Long, Long Time, though taken from the Silver
Anniversary sessions is extended to include the rehearsal leading up to
the recording. Ring The Living Bell is over 14 minutes of rehearsal
and though interesting, we never get to hear the finished version of the song
(perhaps there never was one?) The CD booklet contains an
interview and many photographs. |
