Hailing from San Francisco, Enchant seem to have been around for over a decade releasing several slices of their own brand of prog rock along the way.
I have come across the band every know and then. I can remember buying their 1993 album 'A Blueprint Of The World' because of the involvement of Steve Rothery from Marillion.
7 Years later and the band have devoloped into a top drawer proggressive rock band that look destined to gain many plaudits for this album.
There's no question the band have become a real quality outfit. Touring with bands like Spocks Beard and Marillion have obviously given the group plenty of encouragement to give the genre's leading lights a run for their money.
With 'Classic Rock' magazine drooling over this sort of stuff the bands profile in England should start to rise and rise. I can see all UK prog fans lapping this stuff up.
To sum up - 12 slices of pime time progressive rock played by one of America's finest exports.
This band look in complete control of their own destiny.
