This is Dark Sky's debut album and looks set to be embraced by melodic rock fans worldwide.  The band's sound brings to mind the much missed Europe and fans of that particular group should hunt down a copy of this straight away.

The moment the CD hits in, it brings to mind the sound of Europe straight away, just check out the keyboards.  Vocalist Frank Breuniger is a real find who has a great voice that should make these guys stand out in the crowd.  There does seem to be 100's of aor/melodic rock bands at the moment so Dark Sky have a jewel in the crown that should guarantee them sucess.

There's no weak songs on the album, all have great hooks and after listening to this CD several times it looks like Dark Sky have hit the bullseye with their first try.

I am a massive fan of German Melodic rock bands with both Jaded Heart & Fair Warning high on my list of favourites.  Well I have now added Dark Sky to this list they are that good.

The whole band are very talented and I am amazed that this is only their debut release. It makes you wonder what they will be capable of in the long run.

I have yet to see this reviewed elsewhere as it's not been out that long, but I just know that this album is going to get great write ups everywhere.

I salute Dark Sky - congratulations on making a real class album.  I feel proud to be with you at the beginning of a journey that should be very rewarding and very long.                HOME
