The brains behind this project is Ed James, a very talented guy who wrote all the tracks, played all the music and also found time to produce the album.

It's worth mentioning straight away that this is a 'Demonstration' CD that Ed has put together with the aim of securing a record deal.

Soundwise it's pure 80's melodic rock which to my ears brings to mind Styx on many of the tracks.  The standard of the material is very high and with an excellent production that makes this one of the best quality 'Demo' CD's we have ever been sent to review.

As a singer Ed James has a very strong and distinctive voice which certainly makes him stand out and if there's a big name 80's aor band out there looking for a new frontman then Ed James should be considered for the job.

As a songwriter he also shines with all 11 tracks having plenty to offer.  Opening cut 'She's Come Undone' is my own favourite with the Kansas inspired 'Where Is Love' following closely behind.

We wish Ed all the best in securing a record deal and hope someone with the right connections gets the ball rolling for Ed in the near future.
