I've been living with this album for over a week now and like a bolt out of the blue it has dawned on me that Earthtone9 are the natural succesors to Faith No More.  High praise indeed so this band now have everything in place to take the metal world by storm.

Opening cuts 'Tst Twan Asi' & 'Evil Crawling'  are immense and make for a fantastic start.  Third cut 'P.R.D. Chaos' starts quite slow and atmospheric before ending in a hail of guitar/drum onslaughts.

Next up is 'Approx Purified' and my favourite track on the CD.  It's at this stage that you are starting to think that this CD could take Eearthtone9 to the top of the metal tree and give bands like The Deftones & Korn a real run for their money.

The following tracks continue in the same vein, the are all real quality tunes and it's nice see Ishmael Lewis from Liberty 7 guesting on 'Yellow Fever'.  The group were nominated for the best British band at the Kerrang awards in 1999 so there's plenty of people behind this great English outfit.  Expect rave reviws everywhere, and if you get the chance to see the band live take it because they are awesome on stage. 

We finally have a UK rock band that we can all be proud of.  Buy the album. Catch the band live and start supporting EARTHTONE9 - they deserve it !!
