In 2005 Mistley rebuilt the tearoom to help boost the
centre's income helping to fund the centre all year round.
This is
especially important during the winter months when there are fewer visitors
however the animals still need to be fed, cared for and the attention of vets
whether the are visitors or not. |

| The tearoom serves drinks and homemade
meals. There are also souvenirs and gifts on sale enabling you to support the
sanctuary even if you do not wish to go around the park itself. |
The previous tearoom was a temporary replacement for
the original building that was burnt down by arsonists.
This rebuild
followed an appeal to help fund the new building and secure the sanctuary's
future. |
