Oak Lodge has been judged the best bed & breakfast in the South West of England when it comes to cooking! Westcountry Cooking gave the year 2000 award; a National Farmers' Union sponsored initiative to encourage the use of local ingredients and cooking styles. Shirley's "Westcountry" breakfast will last you all day. Vegetarians and personal preferences are also catered for.

 Oak Lodge is now supplied with sausages and bacon from Dartmoor Happy Hogs. These pigs roam freely on the edge of Dartmoor.

Teign Room
( Double bedroom en-suite / family room / twin room)
This is a spacious double bedroom tastefully furnished with en-suite shower room. There are lovely views across fields towards the River Teign and Dartmoor. The bedroom has a television and video / films can be made available if required at no extra charge. Tea and coffee making facilities. The entire house has central heating.

The Teign Room can be booked as a family room ( two adults and one child / teenager ), or a triple room for three adults or a twin room. The room has a double bed and a full-sized 3-ft. single bed can be made available for the third person / child.

Toys are available for children. Ample private parking for cars.

This room has a king-size double bed. Central heating. Tea and coffee making facilities. Separate fully-fitted bathroom that is exclusive to the Dartmoor Room. A full-size television and video is in the room with some up-to-date videos to watch. We are also prepared to let this room as a single room. Good views overlooking the village.

Ample private parking for cars.

The single room has a good quality 3-ft single bed and there is a wash basin in the room. Seperate fully-fitted bathroom that is exclusive to the Village Room. Central heating. Tea and coffee making facilities. There is a television and video in the room / films can be made available on request at no extra cost. Good views overlooking the village. When the Dartmoor Room and Village Room are booked as a family unit, the bathroom is shared between the two rooms.
