Using this unique 3D colour-photo collection is like looking through a window onto each scene whether this be of ramparts, a tower, the dungeon, a life-size waxworks soldier, or a riverside boathouse. 144 real-3D colour photographs are organised into a series of albums embracing external views of the castle itself, its grounds, and contrasting parts of its interior - including many of the life-size exhibition scenes from the castle's history. Each photo may also be accessed in conventional 2D format.

A 3D aerial-view skyplan is provided, and a 3D time line identifies significant events in the history of the castle. The detailed background explanatory texts which accompany each album are available at the click of a button.
