The School
The School promotes the very best practice in drawing and painting. It will through a sensitive and diagnostic approach, enable the student to work towards his or her fullest potential. Through discussion and critique, students will be encouraged to gain confidence in understanding and talking about their own and other student's work.
A major part of the
study programme will be researching how the elements of line,
tone, form, colour, expression and narrative relate to drawing
and painting form. Examples of other artist's work will be examined.
These drawing sessions are especially useful for students who
are building portfolios for Foundation or Degree applications.
The Tutor
Rory Morrell MA is an
artist and teacher. He studied at University of Gloucestershire,
the British School at Rome and University of Central England.
He has taught for a number of years at Swindon College and University
of Gloucestershire.
