Fun Day June 2008

Once again people and their BGV's travelled from all over the country to attend our Annual Summer Fun Day. We had a fabulous turnout and I think this is the most we have ever had. The weather was kind to us yet again, as we only had very light drizzle towards the end. 

There was a huge raffle and tombola, bring and buy stall, and our Club stall. The sale of T-Shirts and Fleeces were a huge success.

A fabulous buffet was put on by Gail and Hilary who worked all day in the kitchen. Greta once again provided us with lots of different dishes and her lovely homemade cakes. Many thanks to Greta, Lorna, Roxy, Bridget, Gail, Hilary, June, Judith, Pam and of course our judge David for working so hard to make this day a success.

Thanks go to Pedigree, Royal Canin, Fold Hill Foods, Cobbydog, Cromessol, Dorwest Herbs, Wagg Foods, Vitalin, Dodson & Horrell, Mikki, Pascoes and Fish for Dogs for their kind sponsorship. Also many thanks for the donations received from people who were unable to attend the day.

Money raised on the  day was just under £1200 with donations still to come.

Our next event will be our Christmas Party on the 23rd November 2008 at Tattershall Village Hall, Tattershall. We have had to change the venue as we have outgrown New York Village Hall.
