FUN DAY AT HALISTON    1ST MAY 2005

The Fun Day held at my home in Lincolnshire on May Day 2005 was a great success.  The proceeds, amounting to over £1,000, are being divided between BGV and Basset Fauve de Bretagne Welfare.  The day started with a fen walk, followed by a welcoming lunch with scrumptious desserts, many of which were donated.  Rose then formally opened the two rescue kennels, donated in memory of Diana Smith's mother, and the fun and games started.  The star of the day, who was awarded the Fun Day Cup, was Mary with “Smiler”.
