FILM CLUB

We rely on our members to suggest films that they would like to see.  Please feel free to e-mail the site with your favourites:

Rothamsted International Film Club was started in 2002 to support the work of and raise money for Rothamsted International.  This charitable organisation brings graduates from developing countries including Africa to Harpenden to work alongside scientists at Rothamsted Research so that together they can solve some of the agricultural problems that beset the world.  We are able to give a cheque, usually £1000, at the end of each of our seasons.  By coming to watch a film on the big screen at the Fowden Hall you will be enjoying a pleasant evening out and helping third world agriculture at the same time.

The terms of our licence prevent us from advertising, so we would be very grateful if you would tell your friends about us and encourage them to come.  Parking is close and free and there is a bar from 7p.m. to 8p.m.  Anyone is welcome and you do not have to be a member - £4 at the door.

Alternatively, you may join the club:  £15 for six film evenings.
