From Heathrow, take M4 heading west for one junction, then M25, then head South on the M3, turn off at Junction 8 and take the A303 towards Andover.  After 7 miles, turn onto the A30, and follow the signs towards Stockbridge.  Go through the center of the town, (heading for Salisbury/A30), go up the hill, and after approx. 1 mile from the village, you will find a gravel track on the right, signposted “Houghton Down Farm”. 

From the West, head for Salisbury, then take the A338 to Marlborough. After 2 miles, fork right onto the A30 to Stockbridge, which will fork right again after another 4 miles.  Cross the B3084 then in a couple of miles, you will pass a small crossroads signposted Cattis Hill to the left, and Broughton to the right.  Shortly after this the road drops into a dip, where you should look for a gravel track on the left, signposted "Houghton Down Farm".

We are 500 yds up the track, just past the farmhouse.
