The late Harry Edwards is perhaps the most well known healer of recent years, who sadly passed away in 1976. Born in Islington (UK), where for many years he worked in the printing trade. It was when he was in his forties, that he was invited to a Spiritualist church. It was here, on a number of occasions, he was told by the various mediums he should concentrate on healing. This he did, by sending out healing thoughts to the sick. An interesting point here for anyone considering healing for themselves, you do not have to be religious or even have to believe to receive help, as this next account proves.
A women called into Harry's shop, not even knowing why she entered, she explained her story to him. The woman's husband was diagnosed as suffering from advanced lung cancer. He was in hospital and the doctors had given him only a short time to live.
Harry promised to send out some absent healing thoughts, unsure if it wasn't already too late. Two days later, the women returned to the shop. Delighted she explained that her husband had made a remarkable recovery. In fact soon after he returned to work and lived for another twenty years! His wife had never told him about the healing due to the fact he was an agnostic.
There were many similar accounts to the one above, so Harry decided to devote his life to the work of healing. He handed his business over to his brother-in-law and purchased a manor house for just £8,000. The Sanctuary became known and letters came pouring in from and for people who conventional medicine could no longer help. Many came, with a multitude of ailments, and many were cured.
