Biography I am a photographer living and working in Aberdeen, Scotland, but had spent most of my life in the Northeast of England, County Cleveland. I have been interested in photography since I was a child, have worked in various photographic based jobs for about 20 + years now, including arts worker with Photography in East Cleveland. I only graduated in 1999, from Cleveland college of Art & Design, as a mature student with a B.A. (hon's) in photography. During my time at University I had the opportunity to visit Krakow and Oswiecim in Poland, Oswiecim has the Auschwitz museum and Auschwitz-Birkenau sites. I also took a student exchange, under the Socrates-ERASMUS program, to Granada in Southern Spain and made a visit to Valencia for the extraordinary festival of "Las Fallas", which I can thoroughly recommend. 3/4/07
Here you will find examples of my work, most of it revolves around my personal approach to photography, my main interest is landscape but I do like to work within the other genres, always experimenting with various techniques, modes of working. taking in most formats from 35mm up to 5 x 4 including the odd toy camera. I am currently a member of two "cults" within photography, as a user of rodinal film developer and the Diana camera. Exhibitions:
