WebLauncher v01.00.00

This nifty piece of software places a small toolbar, quite like the Office toolbar on the top of your screen.(Shown below)

From this toolbar, you can access a lot of utilities including Ping, Whols, Finger, etc. It lets you convert a web page to English from other languages like French, German, ect, and vice versa.

Most of these menu options need an Internet Connection, but the author has also put in links to RegEdit, Command.Com, Notepad, etc. There is also links to web site, and newsgroups, and newswires and much more.

However, there is a few bad points to it. When unzipping it, Winzip installs it, but the program files are put in the 'windows/temp' directory, which could be easily deleted when emptying your Temp directory.

Also, the program automatically starts up when Windows starts. But there is no icon in the Startup folder on the Start Menu, so you have to go into Win.Ini, find the line RUN, and delete the stuff that follows after the = sign. This will stop it starting when Windows starts.

Overall, the toolbar is quite good, apart from the few flaws mentioned.
