Home to the Flower family since 1916 Old House Farm remains a true working farm and is conveniently placed for easy access to many attractions including the famous Blue John and Speedwell caverns at Castleton, Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Matlock Bath. There are several trails that follow the paths of long lost railways which offer disabled access as well as being suitable for exploration by foot or bicycle (cycle hire available at the trail) and the bewildering choice of footpaths that criss - cross this most scenic part of England mean you will never be stuck for something to do. Then again why not just sit back, relax and watch the world go by ?
High standards are as important to us as they are to you. Old House Farm has been assessed by the Heart of England Tourist Board and are members of Farm Stay UK and the Welcome Host scheme.
Please note that all of our cottages are
non-smoking areas.
