|
Shire's Rest conversion was completed in 2002, has been inspected by the English Tourist Board and has a '4 stars' rating. As the name suggests was originally the home of the farm's Shire horse but with the ascent of tractors has been redundant for many years, occasionally housing a few lambs in spring. It has lent itself to conversion very well offering a lovely spacious two-storey character cottage for 2/4. Beautifully furnished throughout with pine. Upstairs Shires Rest has a double bedroom & shower room including shower, toilet and washbasin, whilst downstairs features a lovely beamed lounge with stone mantel over a cosy living flame cast iron stove giving the feel of a real fire without the work! The comfortable suite is ideal to unwind in and converts to a double bed for any extra guests. TV/Video, Radio/CD/Cassette are provided for your entertainment. The spacious light oak fitted kitchen houses an electric cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher and all the utensils of a working kitchen. A Pine dining table and chairs grace this lovely kitchen. |
