Peter Lockley
The proprietor who decided that he
believed so strongly in the Saab cars that he set up the business to promote
and support its use. He ensures that the informal atmosphere yet professional
team can accommodate the changing needs of the Customers and cars. His
association and reputation with the SAAB marque is respected across the
country.
Graham Davies

Graham was hooked when, in 1968, his
father purchased the families first (of 12) Saab from Blacon motors. His ardent
following of the marque led him to Peter Lockley and with the new premises on
the horizon an increase in workforce to follow, Graham joined the company in
1984 in time for the relocation.
He has owned a number of Saabs and
successfully competed in rally and motor cross events. With 16 years of Saab
experience together with his customer awareness Graham is equally at home
maintaining the cars or sourcing parts and refurbishing the now 'classic' 96's.
Harry Micklethwaite

Harry, on the other hand, 'changed
camps' - he began his technicians career with Mercedes Benz but in 1971 changed
from German to Swedish and joined Blacon Motors as a Saab technician. Harry has
remained loyal to Saab for 29 years. Following the closure of Blacon Motors
Harry joined the Higher Oak team in 1994.
These senior technicians have each
had a long association with Saab.
Cedric Cole - RETIRED
February 2008
'Chester's Mr Saab' who brought with him
Saab knowledge and experience spanning 40 years. Commencing in 1967 with the first Saab dealership
in Chester, Cedric in his role as general and sales manager has probably been
involved with the sale of every new Saab in Chester and after such a long and
uninterrupted Saab career hundreds of customers have remained loyal to him and
Saab. We thank him for his valuable support whilst at Higher Oak Garage.
