By air (plane, aeroplane) -
Edinburgh International Airport is close to the city. The airport is a short (15 minute) taxi ride from here. You can also take an express bus into the city. Car hire is available at the airport, or from numerous businesses in town. For further information and to check timetables contact :-

The Express bus will take you into the City Centre, Princes Street and Waverley.
From Waverley Railway Station, you can take a taxi or a bus to the Old School House.
You can get a traditional black "London Taxi Cab" from the railway station and it should take between 15 and 20 minutes depending on the traffic. The fare should be between 5 GBP and 10 GBP, again depending on the traffic.
To get a bus from Princes Street follow the directions in this link it will cost about 80 pence and take between 15 and 20 minutes. The bus stop is very close to the Old School house (less than a minute walk) when you get to Colinton.
