You will find Edinburgh at the hub of the Scottish motorway network. The M8 links Glasgow in about 1/2 hour and further onto the west coast taking you past the "Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond". You can travel the M9 up to Stirling and further on up the Trossacks to Rob Roy country. Drive over the Forth Road Bridge and you can view the spectacular Forth Railway Bridge as you travel onto to Perth or St Andrews for a round golf.

If you exit the city bypass (A720 City of Edinburgh Bypass) at the "Dreghorn Junction" (from either west or east), you will come to a mini roundabout with a petrol station and "Little Chef" off to the left. Go straight over this mini roundabout and down a hill (Dreghorn Link) for about 500 metres were you will drive under a foot bridge and come to a roundabout. Take the first left off the roundabout and you will pass the Dreghorn Barracks to your left as you go down a hill (B701 Redford Road). Continue on this road until you come to a T junction (30 metres before this T junction will be a bowling club to your right). Take a left at this T junction (B701 Colinton Road). Almost 20 metres along this road is a Porche /Ferrari Garage to your right as you come to traffic lights where the road forks. Take the fork to the left, Woodhall Road . At the traffic lights you should see "McKenzies" restaurant just at the right hand fork which leads down to Colinton Village and Bridge Road.
The Old School house is the first house to your right as you drive up the left hand fork,Woodhall Road.
