Getting to Old School House Bed and Breakfast

Edinburgh's main railway station (Waverley) is in the city centre and can be reached by taxi or bus. There are services to Glasgow and a variety of other destinations in Scotland and England. Most train services also operate from Edinburgh Haymarket station which is on the main bus route between the airport and city centre

From Waverley Railway Station, you can take a taxi or a bus to the Old School House.

You can get a traditional black "London Taxi Cab" from the railway station and it should take between 15 and 20 minutes depending on the traffic. The fare should be between 5 GBP and 10 GBP, again depending on the traffic.

To get a bus, walk up to Princes Street ( 2 minute walk) follow the directions in this link it will cost about 80 pence and take between 15 and 20 minutes. The bus stop is very close to the Old School house (less than a minute walk) when you get to Colinton.
