The Trust aims to buy land that has been intensively farmed or damaged.
We will re-sow wild flowers and trees. Established sites will be public
and called 'Fairylands'. Geared towards children who will be able
to take part in wing- and wand-making, and story telling about nature
and sprites fantastical.
Most importantly, children will be able to roam free amongst wildflowers
and woods looking for fairies - whether you believe in them or not.
2.
PROTECT ANCIENT FAIRYLANDS.
The Trust hopes to able to buy existing 'fairylands' that may be under
threat. Such old habitats will be looked after and not actively publicised
- but will be open to anyone who wants to enjoy them quietly.
3. ORGANISE FAIRY FAIRS AND EVENTS TO CELEBRATE
ALL THINGS FAIRY.
To be held throughout the year on either Fairyland Trust land or borrowed
land.
4. SHARE INFORMATION, INSPIRE AND EDUCATE
ABOUT FAIRIES AND WILDLIFE.
The Trust will maintain this web site which is hoped will become a
useful resource for anyone interested in fairies and conserving wildlife
habitats.
We will always seek to work alongside existing nature and spiritual
conservation bodies and cooperate wherever possible.
