Unknown Real Ale [H];
Pub, whose Dutch gabled roof dates it from time of William III (1689-1702), which has been a hostelry since the late 18th century. Alterations in 1999 in connection with a name change made it lose some of its old charm. Another refit and name change in 2004 still didn't revived the pub's past glories. Another repaint has seen it revert back to its pre-1999 name. Now incorporates an Indian restaurant.
