How much do you charge?

Unfortunately, it is really difficult to give an indication of our charges without knowing a bit more about your event. Various things can affect the cost of hiring a band including the size and location of the venue, the length of time you want us to play and the equipment we will need.

Our priority is to give your guests the best possible experience and to work within your budget wherever possible. So please, contact us now and we will be happy to give you a quotation with no obligation and no hard sell.

Will you bring your own equipment?

We will supply everything needed to perform the show from all of the instruments, to the PA System and Lighting. If you have any special equipment requests please do not hesitate to give us a call.

Do you take song requests?

Our clients are welcome to make as many requests as they like in advance from our current set list, and the band will accommodate as many of these as possible. However the band cannot guarantee to accommodate these requests. If you have a specific song that you wish us to play, then we need 3 weeks notice to try and learn the song, however, we cannot guarantee the we will be able to do the song justice. If that is the case, we would be happy to play the song from a CD.

What venues will you play?

The band will perform at a wide variety of venues from pubs & village halls to large country estates, theatres, halls, hotel function rooms.  The band will also perform in marquees or outdoors, under cover, if the weather allows it.

One thing the band needs to be careful about is the size of the stage.  We can squeeze ourselves onto a small stage if necessary but it will affect our ability to perform.  The larger the stage, the more we can move around to get your guests excited and enjoying themselves!  Generally a stage 6.5m by 3.5m is adequate for our performance.

Where the venue is more than 2 hours drive away from Wigan, the band may require overnight bed and breakfast accommodation and a secure, concealed location to store their equipment.

How Long do you need to set up and how long do you play for?

Usually we need at least an hour and a half to set up the PA and sound check in advance of the performance.  We prefer to carrying out the sound-check before the arrival of guests where possible.

We also need to know things like where the parking is and if any restrictions or fees apply, how easily we can access the venue, and what security will be in place.

The band will perform a total of an hour and a half of live music finishing by midnight, normally 2 sets of 45 minutes with a break. The band may slightly increase the duration of sets by prior agreement but this is likely to incur additional cost.

The band can agree to leave CDs playing through the PA system between sets and whilst they pack up after the performance.

Bookings and Cancellations?

If you wish to book the band, then please email us with your requirements and we will get back to you promptly to discuss the booking.

If you need to cancel, this is a tricky one and a situation we’d prefer to avoid where possible because we usually look forward to a performance and things can get complicated if hire equipment has been booked in advance.  Generally, in the event of a cancellation more than 4 weeks in advance of the gig, we ask for 50% of the agreed band fee.  Where notice is between 2 and 1 weeks, the band ask for 75% of the agreed band fee.  At less than 1 weeks notice, the full agreed band fee will be due as we will have dedicated all our resources to appearing at your event.

Once a booking is confirmed, the band will regularly contact the client whenever necessary if details need to be checked, clarified, confirmed or discussed.
