Other Sources
SR's Note: These are the original sources as
detailed by Kirt. Many of the resources he refers to, such as the
Citadel, do not exist any longer (to the best of my knowledge).
A] A brief account of the attempted invasion of Geoff, from
the private works of Joe Katzman and Erin Smale of the Geoff
Project.
B] This version of western and southern Keoland as the Dark
Forest, a place of malign forces and cursed ruins, is due to the
works of Joe Katzman.
C] The Knights Panther were founded as one such unit. Also from
the private works of Joe Katzman's. His personal Castle
Goldencrest also makes reference to them.
D] From the private works of Joe Katzman, in the Geoff , gives us
the Oeridian "House Mielec", who won the area of
Sterich from the Flan "Lord Tyrant Phenr'aan Tighalok and
his undead minions". Further, "House Mielec elected to
remain in the area after the great battle, and they ruled until
displaced by the rise of Keoland several hundred years later.
They remain one of Sterich's most influential noble
families...".
E] It was during this time that Castle Justinios (later
Goldencrest) was founded as a refuge for the beleaguered
Heironeans. The castle is from the personal works of Joe Katzman.
F] Galzan is a personal creation of Joe Katzman.
G] It was in the Battle of Lopolla that General Vanosar Mielec
was killed and Mielec's White Banner lost. See [D].
H] The life of Tavish "Bloodking" "Vlad the
Impaler" "Draug-gul" Vladimir Sulekos II is
described in Joe Katzman's "Keoland.txt" on the
Citadel, as is Vlad's abdication in CY 447, the reign of his son,
the attack on the Sea Princes, and the ascendance of Lord General
Skotti.
I] The manoeuvring behind this is described by Andy Richards in
the footnotes to the "Hulkhorn" section of
"GH_Weapons.txt" on the Citadel, as is an attempt to
assassinate the Bloodking. Note that the assignment of dates to
the life of Tavish I in the piece is based on the mistaken view
of the Short War occurring in the CY 360's.
J] Tales of Hlad by Rebecca Glenn can be found in "The Red
Star of Kanlen" in "GH_Artifacts.txt". Quotes from
this Akarata of Hextor can be found in "Sermons from
Hell", a personal work by Joe Katzman.
K] For accounts of this battle and the personages involved see
Joe Katzman's "Keoland.txt" on the Citadel.
