Kielder Reservoir and forest are both impressive sights. During the 1995
drought,
water from Kielder was transported by road to West Yorkshire to alleviate
the crisis.One of Northumberland's best kept secrets. Spectacular
breathtaking scenery, the huge lake cuts deep into England's biggest forest.

At Tower Knowle visitor centre is the Kielder water Exhibition, gift,
souvenir and fishing tackle shop.
Attractions at Leapish waterside park include licensed restaurant,
bar, coffee shop, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, miniature golf, bird
of prey centre & adventure playground.
Kielder Castle, a former hunting lodge for the Duke of Northunberland
includes the Kielder forest and Kielder birds exhibition, the Duchess art
gallery, gift shop, Duke's pantry restaurant & children's adventure
playground.
