The 2011 European Sandyacht Championships

Saturday 17th September to Friday 23rd September 2011


Regulations:

Race Rules: F.I.S.L.Y. / I.S.A.R.R
  • Class 2 is 'open'
  • Class 3 is 10 from each country + European Champion.
  • Class 5 is 10 from each country + European Champion.
  • Class Promo is 10 from each country + Promo European Champion.
  • Standart is 10 from each country + European Champion.
    Standart yachts:The scrutineers for this event at Hoylake will not pass any pilot/yacht of a Standart with a sheet rope which is less than 10mm in diameter at any point along its length as per the current specification, rule(annex 2E article 4) 'the main sheet shall be 10-12 mm. in diameter'.

    Racing will start at 10am and no race will be started after 4pm.
    There will be no sailing on the beach until Sunday!!!!i.e. No practising before the event.
    Late arrivals will only be allowed to sail if they have REGISTERED AND PAID BEFORE THE EVENT.

    All Pilots:

  • All pilots must be insured for racing in the UK.
  • All pilots must hold an International Sailing License.
  • The entry fee will be 134 pounds sterling for each pilot (this includes social tickets and the F.I.S.L.Y. fee).

    The entry fee in Euros will depend on the rate of exchange at the time the fee is paid.
