Seventh Harmonic are a female ensemble formed in Autumn 1999, creating symphonic, atmospheric dreamscapes, drawing on many influences from Celtic through Eastern. The music blends an intoxicating mix of soaring violin and angelic vocals, with classical piano undertones, receiving interest from film production companies and drawing comparisons to the likes of Dead Can Dance.

13/2/07

The first recorded output since 2002's 'Promise of Sacrifice' is now available, released exclusively as a free download. Featuring Louisa John-Krol and Tony Wakeford (Sol Invictus) and recorded in London and Melbourne, the track 'Ice Inferno' is available via our Myspace page. It is likely to be the last Seventh Harmonic release for some time, possibly ever - making the track freely available is mainly to say thankyou to everyone who has supported us in our various incarnations over the years. But who knows what may happen in the future....

For fans of the older material, the video for 'Transformation' filmed live at the Camden Underworld in May 2001 is available on Youtube here. Fact fans may be interested to know that this was the night we supported Sorrow, who Éilish later went on to become a member of. Éilish now joins Caroline in Sol Invictus.

Also, the track 'The Search' is featured on the new compilation Influence, released by Russian label Shadowplay, and also featuring our erstwhile collaborators Daemonia Nymphe. More information is available here - copies are also available to order from us via email.

Finally, the guestbook has been disabled due to spam - Myspace users can contact us via our page there. Thankyou again for listening, and farewell - for now...

We've had a short sabbatical, during which Caroline has become a member of Sol Invictus, and Keltia has released a CD of her own material. Our first recordings since 2002 are currently in progress, and a double A-side single will be released shortly. The tracks feature contributions by Louisa John-Krol and Tony Wakeford (Sol Invictus), whom we are of course honoured to have working with us. The as-yet-untitled tracks will be exclusively download-only - watch this space!

As far as the older material goes, you can download Seventh Harmonic albums 'The Ascent' and 'Promise of Sacrifice' for the princely sum of $9.99 per album (that's around a fiver for UK folk). All tracks are also available for individual download, and artwork is downloadable too - should you wish to take advantage of this please trundle over here. Speed may be of the essence here, as we understand the download service won't be running for much longer....

Lots of exciting news this month, so we'll delve straight in!

First of all, you can now preview and download all tracks from our two full length albums 'The Ascent' and 'Promise of Sacrifice' here. Artwork is downloadable as well, so for all those of you who have had difficulties getting hold of the CDs from outside the UK, this is your chance - and indicative of how we intend to do things in the future!

We're also appearing on a great new compilation, also courtesy of Slaghuis: "The Best of Radio Free Abattoir 2004", available here.

Finally, the featured interview in the spring 2005 edition of Starvox has been archived; so everything you ever wanted to know about the genesis of Seventh Harmonic (and a lot more besides!) is up here, thanks to Uncle Nemesis.

Greetings once again

It's been a while, but after a little rest we're back now with some exciting news!

Firstly, Seventh Harmonic have a new singer in the form of Belgium based harp player Keltia, an outstanding artist well established in the ethereal scene in her homeland. Find out more about Keltia on the biog page - meanwhile our first performance together will be as follows:

Friday April 9th
Marco Polo Club, Nyár u. 6,
Budapest, Hungary
.
http://www.ld50.hu

This marks the start of what we hope to be a more pronounced focus on mainland Europe - more dates to be announced via the website soon...

Éilish, our violinist, has meanwhile started working with two bands we have played with before - Sorrow and While Angels Watch. Some of you may have already witnessed her debut performance with Sorrow at the last Whitby Gothic Weekend - future dates to be confirmed include an appearance at this year's Leipzig Wave Gothic Treffen. Working on expanding her burgeoning freelance classical work also, she will be sadly missed, and we bid her our fondest farewells and wish her the best of luck in her future ventures.

Don't forget you can now order 'The Awakening', 'The Ascent' and 'Promise of Sacrifice' from any country via http://www.amazon.co.uk and now using http://www.paypal.com -five tracks from these CDs are now available for free download here.

Many thanks for your continued support...
Caroline and Keltia
