This is your official invitation to this years events at Rougham Airfield. The Historic Vehicle and Fly-in event on Sunday June 11th has over forty historic vehicles already booked in to attend.
Pilot information for the Rougham Tower Associations Historic Vehicle Rally and
Fly-in on June 11th 2000 and the annual 'Wings, Wheels & Steam' Fly-in on 24th &
25th June 2000. at Rougham Airfield, Bury-St-Edmunds, Suffolk is set out below.

Airfield opens at 0930 each day depart by 17.30.
Our annual AIRSHOW is on August 20th and we are also hosting an Auster & Yak
Fly-In on 17th September (all aircraft types welcome!), if your interested let me know!
Also our second annual Aeronauts & Aviators Fly-In in October.
Landing fees £5.00 (vintage aircraft free! 25 years old) inclusive of event entry and 'a
cup of tea'! Also YAKS & AUSTERS are free at the Sept 17th event!
Location: 52.15' N 000.46' E - TL 890646
Runway: 09 / 27 700m x 25m grass - Displaced threshold.
Elevation: 200 feet AMSL : Altimeters Regional QNH
Radio: Call Lakenheath MATZ 128.9 mhz (Rougham non-radio for these events at present, will
advise if Radio licence granted.)
Join: Between Bury-St-Edmunds Sugar beet factory chimney and Great Barton through the
overhead at 1500 feet to join circuit at 1000 feet QNH. Circuits to South of runway and
crowd area.
Taxi/Parking: Clear Rwy at first exit; taxi with caution uneven ground, look for
marshaller who will give you a parking slot, please report to control.
Services: NO Fuel/Oil, lots of grass and goodwill!
Departure: Let control know you are leaving, give priority to landing aircraft.
Warnings: Pleasure flying helicopter will probably be in operation.

Due to forecast bad weather for Sunday 9th July unfortunately this event is postponed until further notice.
We will try and set this event up again in the next few weeks so watch this space.
A firm favourite and an opportunity to discuss with Danny his latest ideas and your wants for the future.

Organised by the Lea Valley Strut, this is a two and a half day event with a constant barbecue running. SOC members are welcome to camp overnight.
