Tui
Na (pronounced twee-na) is an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Tried and tested over 4,000 years and regularly used by over one fifth
of the worlds population, Tui Na is still relatively unknown in the
West. It is a very powerful and effective system of healing that combines
deep relaxing massage with joint mobilsation, gentle stretching and
manipulation. In addition manual pressure is applied to acupressure
points which works very successfully on the same principles as Acupuncture,
but without the use of needles.
Tui
Na's impressive success is due to this combination of therapeutic approaches,
where adequate time is given by the therapist to thoroughly relax the
muscles before joint mobilisation or manipulation takes place.
Acupressure is utilised to help trigger the bodies own healing mechanism
and hasten recovery. Tui Na is extremely effective for easing all aches
and pains, it is also a strong preventative treatment for promoting
and maintaining general health.

about 90 minutes of this muscular steam-rollering you walk out feeling
