Augusta JEAN Wright
(9th July 1916 - 21st February 2000)
Last February my beloved godmother died, leaving substantial funds to various Scottish institutions, including cultural. I very much wanted to remember her life, to associate it to something or somewhere meaningful and consequently bought a memorium space on the Clock Tower square.
It seemed so appropriate, reflecting the century she lived in, her sadness, her wit and humour, her selflessness and compassion, her inspiration and hopes for the future...
