The wooden square
in front of the clock tower is an acknowledgement to the makers
and the main sponsors who have generously supported the project.
Their names are inscribed on small wooden plaques on the board
leading to the Crypt. There are many spaces left for additional
dedications. For £200 you can buy a memoriam space on the
Millennium Clock Tower square. As well as having the name
written on the plaque, we invite the person who commissions the
dedication to write a piece about the life of the person
mentioned on the plaque. All lives are unique and this will give
a wonderfully diverse cross section of the last century. These
life stories/dedications will be held on our web site and can be
as long or as short as you like. It could be dedicated to
someone loved you lost, or to someone you admire and has been a
mentor, of this century or of the remote past.
