Caving
Caving is the
exploration & discovery of passages millions of years old, which are still
changing today. It gives you the opportunity to see things that few people
have experienced. Imagine
abseiling in to caverns to see powerful waterfalls & beautiful formations Experience the
impressive sites only ever seen underground. All under the expert tuition of
an experienced and qualified instructor Introductory level
We will visit one of
the classic caves of the area, where you will not only see some fantastic
sites, but you will also learn a little about the geology of the caves &
how they were formed. You may see huge caverns or thundering underground waterfalls,
but certainly it will be a day to remember Intermediate

Ladder
& lifeline You may be up for a
little bit more of a thrill, we can look in to systems with a more vertical
nature, where we will abseil down the rope, & return with the aid of a

SRT
For access to many
caves SRT is the most efficient method in modern caving. This is a two day
course Day 1 will be on the
surface looking at getting you proficient in the use of the equipment, before
we venture underground on day two to put our new found skills to the test. Ratio 1:5 ·
Rigging A two day course where
we will look at both the theory behind & practicalities of safely &
efficiently rigging a cave for you and others Entry requirements –

Classic
Yorkshire One of the premier caving areas of Britain where we can look at
some of the most amazing underground scenery in Britain, in both horizontal
& vertical systems Ratio 1:4 ·
Improvised
rescue Ever wondered what you’d do if your caving partner got in to
trouble, or was simply too tired to climb the last pitch or ladder? This is a two day course where we will look at simple solutions
