- Hello Coronet fans!
My boat have just been trough a tuff restoration process. I bought i 2 years ago and it have been in my workshop since then. Before I bought it had been under water(completely)due to a bad rubberspacer in the sterndrive and where left unmaintaned on land for 3 years!!!!. It is now back to original shape. I have also bought two new engines for it, so next summer (2002) it will cruise Norwegian waters again for the first time in 5 years!
Anyone how would like to learn about how I did

- We have only just acquired our boat and cannot even drive it!! We have a house that resembles a bomb site at the moment, so we have packed our bags and moved(tempoarily) onto our boat at Beaucette Marina, Guernsey, where we live. My husband will be taking it out soon for lessons and then he will pass on info to me. Our initial ambition is to get to Herm, a 10 minute boat ride away, but the Channel waters are some of the most treacherous in the world. A lot to learn...catch you later.

- Hello Sherlock ;
I do appreciate your (and any other CORONET-owners) interest in the boats. It is really a "cult" !
Sweden has its Coronet-club , and boat magazines like Motor Boat Monthly ran an article on 3 known 32" Oceanfarers in the UK : re.MBM March 1998.
Actully , over 60 32"`s and 30"`s made it to the UK.
However , you info is lacking. Mr.Ole Botwed started his production of GRP-clad plywood boats in 1955 , the 18" Hardtop , shown at the Chicago Boat Show in Januar 1956.
