The Arctic Char - Caught off the shoreline of Baffin Island, The Charr frequents as the name suggests the Northern waters of the Arctic and Atlantic Ocean's. So far I have seen photo's and reports to about 4.5 kgs unless you can tell me different. USNS John McDonnell - TAGS - 51 is an Hydrographic survey vessel built by Halter Marine Inc, MS, USA in 1989 and is 208 feet x 45 feet with a 14 foot draft. She cruises at 12 knots and displaces 1394 tons (lt). Her primary use is as an operating platform for unique U.S. military and federal government missions. Oceanographic and hydrographic surveys, underwater surveillance, missile flight data collection and tracking, acoustic surveys and submarine support are just a few of the specialized services this ship offers.
