Therapy Rooms, Teaching and Event Facilities for Hire:
Tranquillity House is situated in a quiet, private lane on the edge of Swansea's city centre. We have a main conference or meeting-hall which seats approximately 75 people (theatre style), two teaching rooms, and two therapy rooms (with therapy beds in place) for hire. We also have full kitchen facilities, and ladies' and gentleman's cloakrooms; plus a transit hallway space. The House is centrally-heated and carpeted throughout, and once you arrive on our first-floor premises, all of our rooms are located on one level. Accommodation and Meals: Please note that although we do not have Residential Facilities, don't worry about your students or clients obtaining accommodation or meals - there's plenty of affordable accommodation directly on our doorstep (in a wide price-range to suit all pockets), and there are also lots of places to eat immediately outside The House's premises, and delegates can be provided with information lists about these facilities. (We can provide facilities for making teas, coffees and refreshments, etc).
Conferences, Meetings, and Rooms for Therapists:
If you would like to hold a conference or a special event in Swansea - and please remember that our premises are available for hire to all kinds of different groups and individuals, and not just to people with spiritual objectives or to practitioners who offer therapeutic services - Please telephone the Administrator, Jeff Rees Jones, on Swansea (01792) 466467. You can speak to Jeff directly every Monday from 2pm until 6pm. At other times, you can leave your details on our 24-hour ansaphone service, but please remember to include your contact number (landline preferred, but not essential), and he'll be happy to discuss your requirements with you.
Hire Charges: are subject to periodic revision: why not share the hire cost with a fellow therapist or other tutors or colleagues?
Our rates are very competitive and affordable:
Therapy Rooms cost £10 per hour each, or for part of an hour - or they are £25 each for five hours.
Our Main Hall, Green Room, or Sanctuary cost £12 per hour each,
or for part of an hour.
Full Kitchen Facilities are provided free,
(but hirers must supply their own food and refreshments etc.).
An On-Site Receptionist and/or Caretaker:
Your hire charges include a public receptionist and/or a caretaker who can greet your clients or members, and who will be available throughout your hire period.
