The N scale group The N Scale Group has over 250 ft of modules, taking full advantage of the smaller scale to run long trains. Monthly meets are usually attended by around 12 'operating' members who assemble a modular layout, the configuration of which varies each month. The layout is Digitrax DCC controlled. Many other members and guests with N scale interests attend to watch and talk trains, discuss module and scenery techniques and issues related to DCC operation. Rolling stock varies from period passenger trains to modern unit trains and most things in between. New members and guests are encouraged to bring along trains to put on the layout. In addition to the Kegworth meets the group participates in public shows and are regular attendees at the annual N-Trak convention which has been held in Bournemouth for the past few years.
